教育政策、教育管理与文化分析——社会学传统的重要性

劳伦斯·安格斯教授在教育社会学领城和批判教育学领域颇有造诣,并以思维敏捷,富有见地而知名。1988年以其出版的博士论文《一所天主教学校教育的延续和变迁:澳大利亚社会中的一所天主教兄弟学校的人种志研究(Continuity and Change in a Catholic Schooling; An Ehnogaphy of a Christian Bothers College in Australia Society)》而在教育社会学和教育人类学领城崭露头角。立著甚丰,主要著作有:《为了社会秩序的学校教育:教育中的民主、平等和社会流动(Shoolingfor Social Order: DemocnaeyEquity and Social Mobiliy in Educarion)) (1986)。合著有: 《成为一所未来学校:政策实施的微观政治学(Beconing a Scool of Funure: the Micropolitics of Policy Implementation)》 (1997)

摘要

近来,教育管理、教育政策研究多采用文化分析的方法。但是这些研究中的“文化”概念本身需要持续不断的分析。“文化”不是一~种增加利益的工具, 而是一-种关注组织内部动力关系和组织外部更为宽广的社会关系的观念或视角。这种关系视角把学校看作场所,文化的塑造是一个社会的和政治的过程。要理解学校教育, 就要理解教育文化反映组织动力的方式,以及学校教育在复杂的社会形态中的文化定位。

Abstract

近来,教育管理、教育政策研究多采用文化分析的方法。但是这些研究中的“文化”概念本身需要持续不断的分析。“文化”不是一~种增加利益的工具, 而是一-种关注组织内部动力关系和组织外部更为宽广的社会关系的观念或视角。这种关系视角把学校看作场所,文化的塑造是一个社会的和政治的过程。要理解学校教育, 就要理解教育文化反映组织动力的方式,以及学校教育在复杂的社会形态中的文化定位。
